Butter Chicken Dip

Serves 14
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked, diced chicken
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon finely diced ginger
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garam marasla
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, more or less to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, minced

Directions

Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and saute until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add in garlic along with the ginger and garam marsala. Stir and cook for 1 minute.
Add the remaining ingredients except cilantro to the skillet and stir well to combine.
Cook for 10 minutes over low heat. Garnish with cilantro and serve with Naan bread
